“I’ve been in love with stories for as long as I can remember. They’re a fundamental part of who I am.”
My name is Denisa (D. C. Logojan) and I am a writer of literary fiction and dark fantasy. I only write in the adult genre.
I have completed two novels, multiple shorter works and a few poetry pieces. Although I enjoy writing in all mediums, I am most interested in longer works. I hope to traditionally publish some of my works.
If someone asks me what I write about, fundamentally, I answer this: I write about the monster in each of us, about the impossible struggle between right and wrong. I write about the ugliness of grief and the tragedy of love, about the ephemerality of the living and the dead, and the human search for something beyond ourselves. I write about the beauty of the world, the beauty of humanity and the horrifying fear that exists in each of us.
Personally, I hold a Bachelor of Arts, Honours Specialization in Philosophy from the University of Western Ontario. I am currently a third-year Juris Doctor candidate at the University of Ottawa.
You may consult my blog, The Penned Poppy, right here. It has been put on hold for an indefinite period of time.
